Hey! I am elaborating on the procedure on how to add Windows 7 to domain to the best of my knowledge. Go to “Start”, right-click on “Computer” option and choose “Properties”.
You will now see a new window wherein at the bottom, the computer name, domain, and workgroup will be displayed. Click on “Change Settings” on the right side.
Find the “System properties” option and click on “Change.”
Now type in the domain name to which you want to join your Windows 7 PC, click OK to continue.
Provide the credentials as per the instructions shown on the screen.
Click “Confirm” on the confirmation window. You will require to restart the device to manifest the changes.
The procedure is complete.
Otherwise, you can go to the “Control Panel,” navigate to “System and Security,” choose “Advanced system settings.”
Select the tab named “Computer Name” and click on “Change”
Further, hit the domain radio button, and here you can give your desired domain name. Then follow the rest of the above steps.
