One great features of Windows is that it allows the user to easily access copy/paste with hot keys (or keyboard shortcuts as we call them).

However, if you are not comfortable with it, you may turn this option off.

To disable the copy/paste option in your Windows through registry editor, please follow the steps below:

  1. Click on Start, and go to search. Then type in regedit. Select Regedit from the results list.
  2. Right-click on the empty space in the right frame of the Registry Editor and from there select New and DWORD Value.
  3. This time rename DWORD Value with NoWinKeys then hit Enter.
  4. After doing steps 1-3 close the Registry Editor.
  5. Then restart your computer.

In the registry every line lengthiness write (doc, txt, pdf, cs, cpp, xls, java, … ) Has an entry, and each entry has a key for the give part, so you would hit to go through and handicap them all, and the chances are real lyceum that from that punctuation on your Machine  would not pass at all.

Or you can find a tools from "www.askvg.com/how-to-restrict-users-from-cut-copy-paste-and-delete-operations-in-windows" to disable cut, copy and paste functions.

Hope a solution for your problem.

Hi ,  Fmnayeem1 hope the following steps will guide you in fixing of this issue.:

  • First remember that once if you disable regedit then you will not be able to enable it again through any registry or else from a REG file.
  • Steps to follow as follows are Open the run and then you type regedit then press Enter and if all prompted by UAC then just click on Continue/yes in Vista/Windows7.
  • In regedit move to the location Policies->System->DisableRegistryTools of type ->Right click on DisableRegistryTools and click on Modify of type REG_DWORD.
  • Close regedit.
