I want to change Windows XP login sound

Dear All,

Can we change Windows XP log in sound? Some of my friend told me that Window login sound ogg file can be replaced but he himself doesn’t know how to do it. Please tell me the procedure.

Its easy to change log on sound in Windows XP. You need to follow the below steps.
 
Go to start and then Control Panel and click on Sound and Other Devices.
Now, under sound tab, select Windows Logon from the program Event list.
Now, you can browse any audio file from the list and click apply.

Hi Dear,

It is really easy to change the start-up sound. First, choose your desired sound for the start up, then convert it into .Wav format. Then, open "properties of sound", go to "control panel", and then choose a sound. It will open this window.

Choose your sounds, then select " windows start" and click on browse button as highlighted in the picture. Choose your new sound file and apply it. Thanks.
