I have recently replaced the ink cartridge of my printer but I'm still having a check printer cartridge error. My printer is an HP 3500 Color Inkjet printer. I need help with HP 3500 Deskjet reset. I'm on a Windows XP 64 bit system. Thanks in advance.

Hello Douglass, sorry for disrupts with your hp machine, that problem is not a software or installation issue, its a cartridge and printer.
Its likely to remain if the cartridge you bought is not genuine, it will require you to buy genuine in cartridge. If it’s not genuine, the ink inside does not march with the previous genuine in, it will still show errors but if you purchased a genuine cartridge, then make sure you are fixing in to the right position properly, if the problem remains, then get a very soft wiper like a tissue, clean on the ink let-out sport (point) slowly and softly, make sure it’s clean enough, then also clean on the ports when the cartridge link to the printer, located on the cartridge carrier, then fix the cartridge again and test.
If the problem persists, call for the Recommended Hp technician from the IT service providers, may be the printer needs service. Thank you
