I just installed a new application about finger print scanner on laptop.After I reboot it cannot identify my finger print. Can you help me please?

It seems you are having trouble with the fingerprint recognizer in your laptop.
There are many causes for this problem.
1. You fingerprint recognizer malfunctioned.
Contact your manufacturer and send the device for repair.
2. Finger print recognizer driver malfunctioned.
Download the driver and re-install it.
3. Windows has corrupted files.
Re-Install or repair your Windows OS with the CD given with the laptop.
4. Virus is running on your PC.
Check mainly for password override option. If all passwords were disabled in BIOS already. Then try a system restore point from the recovery partition. In some vostro laptop can be set bypass password allows you to bypass the system.
Perhaps it was sleeping when in the logged out state. You should check your security system are running or not. If running then you should disable it and restart the computer. If not working then remove the battery and after small intervals back it to the laptop. May be it works.
