Hi,

You should install the software if there is an installer CD with your camera. To make compatible your camera with your computer there is always an installer CD available with your camera. By installing the program you can locate there your picture storage to your desired drive.

But in this position you can also make sure about the storage of your photos while running the memory of your camera indicating the location of your storage. When you connect your camera with your computer it directs the saving option. If it is not visible to you, try to get those photos easily by searching it in your computer drives.  Thus you can get the location of your photos.

I hope you understand it.

Thanks

Why not just use the SD card of your Kodak camera to open the photos on the computer instead of connecting your camera to your computer. If you are using a laptop, you can use the built-in card reader to view the photos on the SD card. Remove the SD card from the camera then insert it to your laptop’s card reader.

On your laptop, start Windows Explorer then open the drive for the SD card. You should then see the photos taken by your camera. On the other hand, if you are using a desktop computer that doesn’t have a card reader, you can buy an external card reader like this Insignia USB 3.0 Memory Card Reader from Best Buy.
