Hi Team,

I am using MAC os in my desktop, at my home. I use Outlook express to read my office mails. Past 2 weeks, I am not able to archive my mails which is causing storage problem. I found that there is free space in the local drive. I am not able to analyze the issue.

Kindly help me to archive my mails!

Thanks for the solution.

Dear Ingrid Gonzalou,
Set a new folder for saving and archiving your emails in your drive. Also, check the steps in archiving your emails using Outlook through the following URL:
http://infotech.wsu.edu/help/howto/misc/archiving.html#L4
After that you will be able to save your email in your drive inside a specific folder.
Hope that was helpful

Hi There: Please note that outlook express message folders are actually files whose extension is .dbx. First identify the files that you need archived. Then move them in a folder. Lastly backup that file. Say your folder name is myarchive. Copy your messages (that you need archived) into this folder. After that: Select Tools  Options Maintenance tab Store Folder button.

Now location of DBX files is shown. Close outlook express. In windows explorer , go to this folder. Copy the myarchive.dbx file to another folder. Now all you need to do is to re-launch outlook express and copy the .dbx file to the folder names Store and then re-launch outlook express once again. Hope this helps.
