Hyper-V did not find virtual machines to import

On my machine with Exchange ActiveSync emulator and Windows Mobile 6.5, copying the files to the VMs folder and then importing the Virtual Machine through the Import Virtual Machine wizard caused an error. How can I fix it?

Hyper-V did not find virtual machines to import

I think you did the import incorrectly that’s why an error occurred. Here’s how you can properly import a virtual machine using the Hyper-V Manager. To get started, open the Hyper-V Manager MMC Console and then click Import Virtual Machine under Actions section located on the right side of the screen. See image.

On the next screen, go to your exported virtual machine and select the folder that contains the files of the exported virtual machine. Next, click Import. You can leave the rest of the settings as it is. See image.

Wait for the import to finish. It may take a while for the import process to complete because it all depends on the size of the virtual machine to import. See image.
