When I set off the VMware view from Launchy and tried to make connections I stumble across with the message as shown below:
VMware View Client
The View Connection Server connection failed. Network error.
Contact your network administrator.
The View Connection Server is not working probably because of a network error. Is there a need for me to get in touch with someone who is expert in computer networking? What should I do to repair this problem? Please help?
There is an Error in the VMware view after launch
The following is what you will need to do in order to resolve that issue:
Run regedit and then open the following registry key: HKLMSoftwareVMware VDM
After that, create a REG-SZ called "TraceEnabled" and then set it to "true"
Run the View Client to reproduce the issue.
Look for the latest modified debug log in the user's directory which is found at: C:Users<UserName>AppDataLocalVMwareVDMlogs
If there is something unusual in the log, you will need to change it.
