I have windows 7 installed and whenever I try to install HP media smart webcam 42 Setup, my antivirus will interrupt it at 99%. Does anybody know the reason and how to rectify this? Any kind of help would be appreciated.

The resolution will to that issue will be to disable the antivirus as well as the firewall on your computer first, and then install the webcam after that. After you have installed the webcam successfully you can turn the webcam and firewall back on. Make sure that the webcam setup that you're using is from a trusted source.

First of all, you should remove any driver found for it, and then download the latest driver and begin to install it.
During the installation process, it is preferred to close any open browsers and check that the webcam is unplugged until the setup tells you to attach it.
