How to use thunderbird recovery tool to recover email from Inbox and Sent folder? I am not able to see any emails in my Inbox whereas a few days back I had over 1GB of files in Inbox. Somebody please help! Which is the best recovery tool?

How to use thunderbird recovery tool to recover sent folder?

Hello Jai,

The following is the procedure you will need to use:

• You will need to click on the Windows Start menu and select "Run" and then type "%AppData%" in the space provided. Press "Enter."
• After that, open the "Thunderbird" folder, and then the "Profiles" folder, and then choose your default profile and open the "Mail" folder within it.
• And then open the folder with the name of your incoming mail server.
• You will then open the "Inbox" file without a file extension in Windows Notepad. Do not open the "Inbox.msf" file.
• After that find the text of the email you're trying to recover, and then choose "Find" from the "Edit" menu to launch Notepad's text finder.
• Find the line titled "X-Mozilla-Status:" above your target email's text. Change the numbers on this line to "0."
• And then save the file and close Notepad. Launch Thunderbird to look for your recovered mail.
