How do I uninstall VMWare workstation 12 from Windows 7? The “modify” and “uninstall” options are both blacked out, and I’m unable to select them.
You are not able to select the options as you might not have the local admin rights. If it is a standalone system, then you can use the local admin account and uninstall it. Otherwise, try these steps,
1. Select the command prompt as an Admin
2. Type “control appwiz.cpl”
3. The uninstall screen should open, choose the “VMWare workstation” from the list
4. At the top choose the change option and in the following pop up window, select “Uninstall.”
