I am using the default Windows 10’s isoburn.exe to burn the image to DVD, but I am getting the following error – a disc burner wasn’t found.

How To Troubleshoot The Error – A Disc Burner Wasn’t Found In Windows 10?

A disc burner wasn’t found is an error that has different solutions.

Method 1

a. Check whether your DVD is writable or not.
b. If the DVD does not have any other name, check for RW in the DVD name.
c. If the DVD name is different, go to properties.
d. If the DVD is read-only, you cannot burn to that DVD.

If your DVD has RW or Write permission, try this –

Method 2

a. In the Window’s search box, type control panel.
b. Open it.

c. Change View as large icons in the top right corner.
d. Open Find and fix problems.
e. Select Hardware and Devices under the Devices option.
f. Run the troubleshooter.
g. Apply the fix.
h. Restart your device.
i. Try to burn the image.

Method 3

a. Download Rufus
b. Insert your DVD.
c. Open Rufus.

d. Select your device.
e. Start burning.
