Hello. Getting the 0x8004240f Windows 7 error while creating disk partition. Usually, this error occurs while installing the windows on your PC; it will ask you to create a new disk partition. Follow the below-mentioned solution to resolve this error.
Create a new partition.
• Press shift+ F10 keys to open a command prompt in the Windows screen.
• Enter the disk part in the command prompt and click on enter.
• Next, type list disk and click on enter.
• Enter select disk number to delete it and click on enter.
• Next to clean the disk, type clean and click on enter.
• Next, type list volume under disk partition and click on enter.
• Enter select volume number to delete it and click on enter.
• Next, enter delete volume in the next line.
