Hi, I am getting 0x8002801c error in Windows 10 that says DllRegisterServer failed. I cannot understand the solution to this problem. Please help me out here!
You need to register your “.ocx” file to get rid of 0x8002801c error in Windows 10.
a. Open This PC.
b. Go to the C drive.
c. Open the Windows folder.
d. Open System 32 folder.
e. Search for your “.ocx” file.
f. Copy the file.
g. Go back to the Windows folder.
g. Open the SysWOW64 folder.
h. Paste the file here.
i. Open the command prompt as admin.
j. Type regsvr32 your_file_name.ocx and press enter.
k. You will not get any error.
