How To To Keep Away Any File Or Folder From Prying Eyes

If you have private documents and videos that you want to keep under secrecy and prevent other users from deleting your files, then this is the right place for you.

Windows 10 can hide a file or folder by using File Explorer and by using Command Prompt.

For file explorer method:-

Open the PC’s File Explorer> the file or folder you want to hide> Right-click> Properties>General tab, under Attributes, check the Hidden option>Click Apply>click ok > click ok to save

In case you’re hiding a folder with files, and subfolders, make sure you select the Apply changes to this.

Click OK again to complete the task.

Now, if you want to access your hidden files, you’ll have to type the following complete path to the hidden folder or file you want to open and press Enter. For example:

C:\Users\admin\Desktop\Files\Secret Files\LOVE.txt.
