Hello, below show the solution for my iPod won’t connect to my computer is as follows:
• First you have to close the entire program which ever is opened.
• Next make sure that the iPod is fully charge during the process
• Now you have to connect your iPod directly to computer without the USB port
• If possible connect to other USB port
• Or you can try it with other USB port and the problem is solved too
iPod and iPod touch have different PC connectivity features. For a third generation iPod, it can be connected to a PC using the USB cable or via FireWire. For iPod touch, you can connect it to a computer using the USB cable or via Bluetooth. Wi-Fi is used only to connect to the internet.
Depending on which type of iPod you use, since both uses USB, use the USB cable to connect your iPod to the computer. But before you connect your device, make sure iTunes is already installed on your computer. Your computer won’t be able to detect your iPod without iTunes and this prevents your device from connecting to your PC.
To successfully connect your iPod to your computer, download and install the latest iTunes. Once this is installed, connect your iPod to your computer using the USB cable then launch iTunes on your computer. Select your device in iTunes. This should now allow you to transfer files between your computer and your device.
On the other hand, if you cannot connect your device via USB cable, connect using Bluetooth. But to do this, your computer should also have Bluetooth. Laptops are always equipped with Bluetooth but regular desktop computers are not. If you are using a desktop computer, you need to install a Bluetooth adapter to enable Bluetooth connectivity.
