Hi, Windows update error 80246007 occurs when it has an issue with installation or update folder.
To fix this error follow the following steps:-
- Go to the command prompt. Locate the path as c:\windows\.
- Change the name of the software distribution folder to old.
- To stop the windows update services type “net stop wuauserv” in the command prompt.
- Start the windows update service once again.
- Check for updates and update, respectively.
