When I try to delete temporary files created by a newly installed software, I encounter the 80004002 error code. The error says – “No such interface supported.” In the task manager, the application is not running. How to fix the error?

How To Fix The 80004002 Error Code In Windows 10?

There are some files that you should not delete. If you are sure you can delete these files, try these methods to solve the 80004002 error code.

Method 1

a. Click on the Power button on the Start menu.
b. Press the Shift key on your keyboard, and click on Reset.
c. A blue screen will appear.
d. Click on Troubleshoot.
e. Open the Advanced Options.
f. Select the Startup Settings.
g. You have to restart your system.

h. Press F4 on your keyboard.
i. You will enter a safe mode.
j. Delete your file.
k. Restart your device to normal mode.

Method 2

a. Enter safe mode, as said in Method 1.
b. Press Windows + R on your keyboard.
c. Type inetcpl.cpl and press enter.
d. Go to the Advanced tab.
e. Click on the Reset button.
f. Tick the Delete personal files checkbox.
g. Click on Reset.
h. Try to delete the file.
