My PC started showing some bugs, so tried resetting my computer but in the process, I lost my inbuilt Microsoft office. When I tried to upgrade, it was showing office update 2003 error code 0x80096004. How do I solve this?

How To Fix Microsoft Office Update 2003 Error 0x80096004

• First of all, reboot your PC and keep your PC up to date.

• If that didn’t work, then check if you’ve received any Microsoft office setup disk. If you find it then install directly from that disk.

• If not, temporarily disable any antivirus software that is currently running on your PC.

Because sometimes it might not let you install certain things that are against its code, even though it is not a malware. Make sure you do this step and now try to update your Microsoft office 2003.

• If the office update 2003 error code 0x80096004 still appears, open troubleshooting menu and click on view all on the left side of the panel. Now click on both WINDOWS UPDATE and BACKGROUND INTELLIGENCE TRANSFER SERVICE, and click next.

• If that didn’t work, then try updating manually from here.
