I got a problem in installing Microsoft Office 2010. As I have known  'Error writing to file:' there should be a PATH to a file, but this error message is giving me nothing but the file name. How could this be?

Error message:

Error 1310: Error writing to file: atl90.dll. Verify that you have access to that directory

Hello Maggie,

What you are getting is an error associated to missing or corrupt registry entries of the application that you are installing, or it could also be as a result of corrupt  registry entries on your computer. To resolve the issue, you will need to do the following:
Install CCleaner on your system.
Run it and the use it to clear your system of all registry entry related problems.
After that, retry installing MS Office Professional and see if the installation will work well this time round.

If after the above steps you still get the error, you will need to:
Get another copy of the Microsoft Office Professional application.
Try using it for installation and see if it works.

Regards,

Carl
