A lot of security issues are associated with this Cloud Computing security. Some people confuse the cloud security with security software which is completely wrong. Security concerns are broadly discussed under two important categories:

  1. Security concerns which are faced by Cloud Providers which are the real organizations providing Software- platform / infrastructure as a service through the cloud.
  2. Security concerns which are faced by the Customers .

It is very important for the provider to ensure that the infrastructure is secure & the data and applications are protected as well. However, the customer must remain cautious and taking the security measures as earliest as possible.

The dimension of the Cloud Computing security is classified into three major categories:

  1. Security & Privacy
  2. Compliance
  3. Legal or Contractual concerns

The extra security measures to be taken to secure the sensitive data available at main servers for unauthorized use from persons or groups, Providers must attend the following areas:-

Data protection is very important. Data from one customer should be properly segregated from the other customer. There should be no transparency in any of the accounts.

Application security is very much important. Cloud providers must ensure the applications available as a service through cloud are secure by implementing testing and acceptance procedures for outsourced or packaged application code.

Privacy also comes in this category. Providers must ensure that all the critical data like credit card numbers, etc are masked and only authorized customers/users have access to data in its entirety. Also , digital identities and credentials must be protected .

Record-keeping may come under Legal issues in the public sector. Many companies/ agencies are required by law to retain and make available electronic records in a special fashion.

It may be determined by legislation or law may require companies/agencies to conform to the rules

The main issue in cloud computing is security. And the security software company has introduce their cloud computing security software feature. This protects your computer when browsing. It hasn't tested yet because there is no new that cloud computing is being attack by virus infections.

Cloud computing use main server which most subscriber fears that it might compromised. However, it has this dimensions that the real organizations who provide software platform and infrastructure through cloud computing is making sure that all are secured. It has this different layer which provide outcome with secured browsing. A proper compliance and guidelines has to be followed whenever you are using cloud computing.
