Hi Pamela,

Firstly i tell you that difference between highlighter and saving bookmarks. Bookmarks just save the current link of the website which can be used again to go to the saved page where highlighter is used to highlight the text just like the highlighter marker use in paper but this is not permanent.

So to save the highlighter text firstly you need to install the add-ons of Mozilla Firefox after installing that highlight the text and then after highlighting go to the toolbar select highlighter plugin and select copy and paste in word and notepad.

Thank

AJ

Hi,

Its so simple dear. When you have highlighted some text in Firefox, you need to copy that text now. There are three ways to copy the text. First highlight the text, then press “Ctrl + C” button from your keyboard, it will be copied to clipboard. Other way to copy the text is highlight the text and then right click on that text and click on copy.

Another way to copy the text is highlight the text and then go to “Edit” menu and click on copy from dropdown menu list. Using anyone way, you can copy the text, and then go to the place, where you want to paste the copied text eg. Microsoft Word, Notepad, Word Pad, Microsoft Excel etc. Use “Ctrl + V” to paste the text there.

And you asked about Bookmark. Bookmarking means you want to save the URL of web page that is not opened. So, that you can use or open the same URL / web address after some time again.
