How to Resolve Error: “Invalid SIM” for Iphone 6

My parents gave me an iphone6 for my birthday just last week and it keeps on complaining about the SIM card. The error I was getting says: “Invalid SIM”. My initial solution is to turn it off and turn on again and sometimes it will work but there were few times that it will show the same error after turning it on. Is this problem related to me turning the device off while charging? What could be the causes for this? What else should I do?

How to Resolve Error: “Invalid SIM” for Iphone 6

Switching on and off is a good trick it works.

You can even try switching on airplane mode and after a minute you can switch off airplane mode even that work.

You can even switch off your phone and remove sim card after a minute or so put it back in and switch on the phone again.

You can even try reset network settings which can be done by going to Settings, select General, than choose Reset and than on there choose reset network settings.

If you had alter your sim like cutting the sim card to fit in the iPhone than you should really request your operator to give you the iPhone 6 supporting sim card or the problem will be there always.
