How to remove metadata source from domain controller?

I want to know if it is possible to remove metadata source from domain controller and how it is done. Any kind of help would be appreciated.

How to remove metadata source from domain controller?

Hi Christ Hilyard,

If you remove  Metadata source from DC that could not be properly degraded in the Windows Server 2003

you had to launch ntdsutil and manually remove metadata from various areas.

The user of Windows Server 2008 Active Directory and Computers MMC snap-in, the metadata is cleaned up automatically if you delete a DC.

then check the "This Domain Controller is permanently offline and no longer be degraded using the Active DCPROMO".

It means that you have to remove the Domain controlfor the users of Active directory & computers.
