Hi. I have a problem running my recently downloaded software from Texas Instruments. The software is called LearningCheck™ Creator Software. It was working well during the first try but now it seems to have issues with Java as the error is stating “java.lang.NullPointerException.” with Stack Trace below the error message. I am running this on my Windows 7 PC. I hope someone here can explain to me the cause and the solutions for this issue. Thank you.

Error:

java.lang.NullPointerException

A java.lang.NullPointerException that are getting is possibly caused by some bug in the application that you just downloaded, and the cause of that bug may be because the application was wrongly coded. In case you are able to install the application successfully and then the error occurs thereafter, then it is possible that the problem is entirely with the application and not something like a wrong installation procedure.

The remedy here will be to go to another site and download the same application and try to install and see the response that you will get. You also need to ensure that the site you download from is a trusted site.
