How to reinstall Windows Defender on Vista ?

On my desktop I have defender installer package, when i try to reinstall, it won't let me reinstall the defender.

There is an error message (the attached file).

The wizard was interrupted before Widows Defender could be completely installed..

Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run setup again.

Click Finish to exit the wizard.

Hi,

If you want to re-install Windows Defender in your computer without any mistake then you should remove your past edition first. After completely remove Windows Defender, you should set up Windows Defender again in a appropriate way.

You said that, you got one concept when you tried to set up it. It may happen for your past copy software of Windows Opponent were gone down by malware, so you should obtain it again and then try to set up again.
