How to calibrate the screen of HTC Hero?

If you are having a problem entering texts maybe when composing a message in your HTC Hero Smartphone, try if it can be fixed by calibrating your keyboard. Since different users have different methods of keying text, some can use only one hand using the thumb but there are some that uses both thumbs of both hands to type in texts.

Looking at them is just like playing a Gameboy or something. Whichever method you use just stick to the one you normally use when entering texts for consistency when doing the keyboard calibration. To begin calibrating your keyboard, go to Settings, Local & Text, Touch Input, and then Calibration Tool. See image.

When doing the calibration, you will be asked to type in “the quick brown fox jumps over a lazy dog”. I think this is because this whole phrase covers the entire alphabet. While doing the calibration, it will also remember the manner you key in every character on the screen.

But remember that when you press on the wrong key while calibrating the keyboard, it will remember the error for the current calibration session. If this happens, you need to start all over again until it is done perfectly. Once you accomplish it, it will improve your proficiency in keying texts.
