How To Install Memory In PC – Steps To Follow.

Memory can be of two type primary or secondary. We need to know about the memory in order to know about the storage space so we can decide how much to add.

Step 1: Choose the type of the RAM you want to install.

Step 2: Ground yourself.

Step 3: Remove the notebook and power down it. Remove the battery from the back of your laptop and power off to discharge the capacitors.

Step 4: Remove the panel at the bottom of the computer and check the number of sockets.

Step 5: Check if you need to install your RAM in pair.

Step 6: Replace your old RAM with the new one.

Step 7: Install the SODIMM sticks properly.
