How to get free desktop game development tools?

There are lots of game development software you use to develop your personal game. Generally if you have programming knowledge you can you Java Programming language and Eclipse IDE to develop games. But if you are not familiar with programming language then you can use Game Maker 8. It is the best choice for you. Lots of tutorials and resource are available in the internet. So I suggest you download Game Maker 8 and develop your personal Game. Game Maker 8 is free for use.
