PlayStation 2 game console headsets and its online multiplayer support

Does PlayStation 2 game console comes with a headset and does it support online multiplayer? My name is Sandra Owusu and I love video games a lot. I could say perhaps due to the fact that I started playing video games when I was a very little child and video game became my only source of entertainment. I wanted to buy a video game for my best friend as a surprise birthday gift and I wanted to know if I do buy PlayStation 2, the game console do come with a head set play? Also I would not be allowed to go over to his house to play with him for him to benefit from my experience and because of that I wanted to know if it does support online multiplayer and party chat?
