How to fix Load lang.xml failed error when opening Notepad++?

The following beginning of a message that appears whenever you open notes Pad in Windows 7 64 bits:

Configurator

Load langs.xml failed!

Why did it do it? I cannot identify with anything on this.

May be your langs.xml has error into it. It might happen when you made any unintended changes in Notepad++ Options.

Here is the solution:

1. Close Notepad++.

2. Right click on Notepad++ shortcut Icon and click Open file location.

3. Rename langs.xml to langs.xml.update

4. Find langs.model.xml and make a copy of that. Rename the new file as langs.xml

5. Restart Notepad++.
