I booted up my computer today and the first notification I got was that my firewall was disabled. Yesterday was a long day and I was working rigorously on my computer but I do not know how or what disabled the firewall. How do I turn my firewall back on? I use a Windows 10 machine.

How Do I Turn My Firewall Back On Windows

Enabling or disabling the firewall on Windows is relatively easy. The fact that a lot of consumers do not know how to do this is another thing. Most of the users know that firewalls are important for their computer’s security and once it is on, they do not go to the effort to find out how to disable or enable it.

To enable your firewall back again on a Windows 10 computer, follow the steps as given. Log in with an administrator account. Open the Control Panel and click on System and Security. Click on the Windows Firewall. On the left, you will find an option that says turn Windows Firewall on or off. Click on it, click on turn on the firewall and then click on okay. Voila. You have enabled the firewall.
