How do I configure iis log file crawler?

Hi gurus.  I would like to perform a detailed analysis of my website's content that is compliant with the robots exclusion protocol.  How do I configure IIS log file crawler excluding IP so that the IIS file would not be a big file?  I'm on IIS 5.0, Windows 7 64 bit and Windows Server 2003.  Thanks.

I read your question and I think you may need a simple software from https://ponderingthought.com/ you can download from here.

The program is written using the Microsoft .NET Framework. It's help manage all log files related to MIIS 5.0-7.5 and will automatically compress, copy and/or remove the log files. IIS Logs offers two modes – Stand-alone EXE and Windows Service version
