I need to know how can I customize a softphone

Hi,

I use a desktop which runs by Windows 7 ultimate.

I have downloaded X-lite SoftPhone to make some calls.

I need to customize it as per my requirement.

How can I customize a softphone?

Please help me with this.

Hello, Back John

Hope you are fine. I think I can give you a solution. So don’t worry. It would be better if you told what you want to customize. However I am going to write something for you.

SoftPhone 3 interesting classes:

These are:

CImageDialog, CImageButton and C Led

1. CImageDialog: This class maintains the painting of the background. It also loads the background image and is able to resize it to fit in the dialog.

2. CImageButton: This class maintains drawing the buttons and also the display.

3. Sled: The original version of this application can use this class and see the status of the PABX’s queues.

It supports three colors. Red, Green and color off.

I need to know how can I customize a softphone

Hi John,

Just follow these simple steps:

1. Click in Your Name | Set Up | Customize | Call Center | SoftPhone Layouts.

2.1 To create a new SoftPhone Layout Definition, click "NEW".

2.2 To modify or view an existing layout, click "EDIT".

3. In the Name field, enter a unique name that is easy to identify your Soft phone layout definition.

4. In the Select Call Type, choose your preferred mode to use.

5. In the Display these calls-related section, click edit to choose from add, remove or change the currently displayed layout.

6. Click Add or Remove objects in the Display these sales Objects area to change the order of links to call.

7. Save.

Hi John,

You can customize your desktop using VoIP SDK, IVR SDK if it doesn't work as the Portage or PortSIP VoIP SDK to customize your desktop.

You should search how to use those softphone customizes so that it can help you customize your softphone with your desktop easily. You can also download the PortGo for windows or PortGo Professionals for Windows.
