Hello,

I am new to 2D animations.  I have a few images in .png format.  I am planning on creating  2D animations for a game.

How can I create 2D animation pictures from Png? What software should I use and where can I download it? Also, could you please help me with some instructions on how to create 2D animation pictures from PNG.

Hi Gerardo Thomass,

Animation actually is sequence of images. You put each image into each frame, so when you run frame by frame, you get an animation. Your animation presents smoothly or not depends on number of images (number of frames). There is powerful software for you to create animation like that. That is Adobe Flash. With Flash, you can create animation not only from png files, but also from other format of image (such as jpg).

In Flash, you import your images to library. Then in editor window, you create many key frames, each key frame contain an image. Press Ctrl + Enter to play your animation.
