Xara Designer Pro 7 – Error
Hello Kevin,
It appears like you are attempting to install the Xara Designer Pro 7 application on a windows operating system that does not support it.
An edition that was supported was released earlier , which was a free edition, and since its release there has not been any updates to it. What you will need to do to resolve the issue is to:

try downloading the latest Xara Designer Pro.

And then make sure that you get it registered for a 30 days trial period.
If the problem persists, you can get an alternative application that does the same work as Xara Designer Pro, install it on your system and see if it will work.

Xara Designer Pro 7 – Error
It seems the application has not received any updates since it was released and there are no known errors about Xara Designer Pro 7. If this problem occurred to you, it is probably an isolated one. They also advised users to disable any registry protection utility you may have when installing the software because it can prevent the application from installing properly.
As always, before installing Xara Designer Pro 7, make sure it is compatible with your system. Xara Designer Pro 7 supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. It requires 256 MB RAM and 400 MB free hard drive space. If you verify that your computer is fully compatible, try downloading the installer again from Xara Designer Pro Previous Versions.
Select Designer Pro 7 at the bottom of the page to download it from the original source. Once downloaded, run the installer to install Xara Designer Pro 7. See if this fixes the problem. If the problem continues, it would be better to upgrade to Xara Designer Pro X. You can download it from the same link given above.
