I have a friend who has just purchased a Dr Web LiveCD antivirus and I want to try how it works without putting anything in. Please teach me how to create a duplicate copy of Dr. Web CD using ISO to burn the files.

If you want to use Dr.Web LiveDisk to create a live CD which will allow you to restore your computer, there are two ways: using a CD and using a USB flash drive. Whichever you select, you will still have the same Emergency System Recovery Disk. To create your recovery disk, go to Dr.Web LiveDisk.

If you want to create a live CD using the ISO file, click on the “Download to a CD/DVD” button to download the ISO image. If you select this, you need to burn the file on a blank CD. You can use ImgBurn to burn the ISO file and create an Emergency System Recovery Disk live CD.

If you want to use a USB flash drive, click on the “Download to USB” button to download the EXE file. To create a live USB, you need a USB flash drive with at least 1 GB free space. Once the file is downloaded, connect your USB flash drive on the USB port and double-click the downloaded “drweb-livedisk-900-usb.exe” file to run it.

The application will detect the available USB device. Select your USB flash drive from the dropdown list. If you wish to format the drive before creating the live USB, check “Format USB drive before creating Dr.Web LiveDisk”. By default, Dr.Web LiveDisk doesn’t change or delete the files stored on the drive. When you are ready, click “Generate Dr.Web LiveDisk” and wait until it is finished.

When the process is complete, click “Finish”.
