How can i remove websearch toolbar

I’m using Windows XP in my computer.

My browser is Mozilla Firefox4.

The problem is my browser showing a “Websearch Toolbar”, and I want to remove it.

Please guide me…

There's Adware, spyware or malware  that is installed in your system that's why you have that kind of tool bar.To be able to remove web search tool bar on your Firefox, you can do the following steps:

Hello to you Dolore,

You can remove any tool bar that you do not want in the browser. Just use the following simple procedure to remove the websearch tool bar:

  • Anywhere in the firefox menu bar, right click and then choose tool bar options.
  • A dialog box will open that has all the tool bars that are in your browser.
  • Uncheck the websearch tool bar box from the list and other tool bar that you do not want to appear in the browser.
  • In my case I have unchecked all the tool bars as shown in the image above and therefore none will appear.
  • Click OK when you are done.

You will have successfully disabled your websearch tool bar.
