Problem with MAPI 1.0 on Sending Attachments

I am not allowed to send an attachment from programs such as MS-Word, MS-Excel, Adobe Acrobat etc. An error message is displayed which says that there is some problem with MAPI 1.0. To resolve this, I tried office repair, recreated all profiles and reinstalled the Office. The problem just remains. Can anyone help me on this please?

Problem with MAPI 1.0 on Sending Attachments

Hallo Mike Atkinson,

That kind of problem can be dealt with by the use of the PR_MESSAGE_CLASS property in outlook, which should be enabled. Once you have it enabled, you can send the attachments as files, and in this case all parts of the files being sent will be converted to MIME, a format that will not be troublesome being sent in both outlook and other non-ms clients.

Or you could send the attachment as MAPI objects, and in this case no conversion will be needed since the winmail.dat file is not altered and therefore making it possible for the outlook clients to open the attachments and also send them.
