Error while downloading with IDM extension on Mozilla Firefox

Hello all,

I got an error when trying to download with IDM extension on Mozilla Firefox: error 0x800700C1. If IDM is not running, then this error would pop out, but after opening IDM, no more error appeared. Nothing such as this happened before. The extension should automatically start IDM. It happened after I installed some driver for a useless cheap sub wireless adapter. Still couldn’t figure out how to use it anyway.

windows 7 64bit
IDM 6.03 beta build 5

Hi there, 

What you actually need to do here is remove Mozilla, since I don`t see any other possible way to solve this. Mozilla troubleshoots because something is not OK, so a full software removal and installing it again should do the trick. As I can see, you also mentioned some useless driver? That could also  be a reason, so run a deep computer scan, and make sure you delete that file if you don`t need it. *DELETE only if you are sure that you don`t need it.
