How can i remove redaction from pdf files?

I had a hard-copy book that has been for long and i have decided to scan the pages of this book and give to my younger brother in the house to type them into a word processing environment. But the problem i have is some text have been covered with funny black spots on the pages and i want to remove all the redaction. So what should i do to remove redaction from PDF files? I will really like to have an idea on how to do it.

How can i remove redaction from pdf files?

Many applications and soft wares are used to remove redaction from PDF files and i will just mention a few and talk about how to use one of them and solve your problem. Some of the applications we have are: 

– Acrobat, Acrobat XI, Acrobat Pro etc

 

To solve this problem, it is very simple, open the PDF file with Acrobat and from there follow the steps based on Acrobat Pro. 

Goto Tools -> Advance Editing -> Select TouchUp Object tool and then you can select and delete any objects blocking the text you want to view and then delete it.
