Hi Beeky Kaitlyn,

Locate or generate a document.

Strip out any text that doesn’t require being in every document.

Decide the Save As command from the File tab menu.

From a name for the template in the File Name text box

From the Save as Type drop-down list, select Word Template (*.dotx).

Click the save button.

Close the template by preferring the close Command from the file tab menu.

Thanks

Hi Beeky Kaitlyn,

There is no standard format/template used to create classified documents, as long as you place security mark/classification of your customized document, then it can be considered as classified documents.

Microsoft Office 2010 also has features in protecting your documents (Open Office2010, Click FILE/INFO/PROTECT DOCUMENT/chose your preferred restrictions)

Click the link ( http://www.afsbirsttr.com/Publications/Documents/Author_Guide_Oct09.pdf ) this serves as a guide on how to create a professional looking classified template, scroll to page 18)

Hope this helps,
