How can I create Password Reset Disk in Windows 7, so that if I forget password then I can reset my password. I am trying to create a password reset disk. For this purpose, First I go to Control Panel, then I go to User Accounts ; next Family Safety ; next go to User Accounts.
Then I click on Create a password reset disk. After these steps, I insert a floppy drive and click on next button but I receive below error. After that I also insert CD and DVD drive but same error appears again. Tell me its solution.
No Drive
This feature requires removable media, such as floppy disk or USB flash drive, Please insert a floppy disk or connect a USB flash drive, and then try again.
How can I create Password Reset Disk
Insert your removable disk first before proceeding to the following steps.

Start creating your password reset disk by insert your preferred removal disk or flash drive. Then go to “Start” menu and select the “Control Panel”

Choose the ”User Accounts and Family Safety” then tap the “User Accounts” once you press the “Create a password reset disk” simply follow the Wizard instruction then tap “Next” then select the drive disk or flash drive to save the password file then tap “Next”

You can now enter the your password and press “Next”

Now your password will be saved on your disk, when the process is done just tap “Next” then press “Finish”
Take note that password reset disk only works with local user account.

Please go to the My computer icon, right click on it, select properties, and than go to device manager.
Confirm that you have a floppy disk drive recognized by the system, and there is to yellow mark on it. If you do not have a floppy disk drive recognized by the system, then insert a flash drive, and again check that it is recognized in the device manager. After that you can create the password reset disk.
