How can I change mass file as Outlook for contacts?

Hallo guys.

I have configured an email in Microsoft Office Outlook, and I normally sync it with my Phone where I also have several contacts.

Every time that I sync I realize that the files are configured differently in my Outlook showing some as 'First, Last' while others show 'Last,First'.

Is there a way in which I can change mass file as outlook to have uniformity in my contacts?

This will save me a bunch during mass emailing and backing up my contacts.

Thanks.

  1. Start by rebooting your system.
  2. Open Microsoft outlook, click the button 'tools', go to account settings.
  3. On the address book button, click outlook address book. It will give you the address book you wish to configure,  this will give you options of the display format.
  4. Make your desired changes and click on the close tab twice. Restart Microsoft outlook.
  5. The last bit is verification. Starts by clicking options in the tool menu.
  6. Finally, on the preference tab go to contact options under the contacts and notes. Make the desired verification.

Hi,

It's a very typical problem. Not that much easier to resolve by simple way. It is true when you use different contact books each have its own format. First name last name and business email is personal email. When trying to import it is incompatible with that format.

But the solution is very tricky. You can always do that by manually mapping of these contacts. As a rule once you inform import wizard to import first name field to first, next time it remembers for all other contacts.

Try and enjoy !
