Help to install driver for LG DVD

Hello

For LG DVD I can’t find any driver in win8.  There is no way to install it. I don’t know any other way to install it. Anyone know any DVD I could so I can install win8.

Help me to solve this problem. Thanks a lot.

Help to install driver for LG DVD

Dear Phoebegirl

To install the LG DVD, restart your machine and insert the win 8 7955 disc and begin to boot from the disc. After the setup screen appears cancel that setup and the machine will restart. Log into your machine and go to "my computer" and check if the drive appeared or not. If it's showed, then open the "device manager" and under "dvd/cdrom" uninstall the currently appearing driver. When successfully uninstalled, click on the action menu and select "scan for hardware changes". Once the hardware is recognized by your machine, eject the disc and try a restart and you will find your dvd installed properly.

I boot from the disc and follow your steps Tibor.tokie. By following your steps, I was able to install it successfully. Thank you very much. I thought installing it is very hard but with your instructions, it was very easy.
