Having trouble installing disc for Brother DCP-350C. Please Help :/

I'm trying to install the disc that came with my Brother DCP-350C printer. When I try to install it I get the error message:

(( MFL-Pro Suite can not continue this installation because PaperPort(TM)11SE requires the latest windows (R) Service Pack)))

I have Windows 7 installed on my computer. I have uninstalled the version of paperport 11 I had off of my computer, and downloaded the paperport11 setup that came with the disk, I'm still getting the same error message. Can someone please help, Thanks Much :).

Hi,

Don’t worry about the error message. It’s little trick that will do work I think. Actually, this kind of error message created by the task manager for its unwanted process. You have to open the task manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc. Select the processes tab and click on the ‘Image Name’ column heading. Turn off the ISUSPM.exe (just press the End Process button).

Again try to run the installation process.

That error is not from the printer software you installed but with the Service Pack your computer is using. The printer software you installed requires the latest Microsoft Windows Service Pack. Just install the latest Service Pack for your operating system and it should fix the problem. If you have Windows XP, download Windows XP Service Pack 3.

This is the latest and last Service Pack update for Microsoft Windows XP. If you have Windows Vista, download Windows Vista Service Pack 2. This is the latest and last Service Pack update for Microsoft Windows Vista. If you have Windows 7, download Windows 7 Service Pack 1. This is the latest and only Service Pack update for Microsoft Windows 7.

If you have Windows 8, you should update to Microsoft Windows 8.1 on the Windows App store to have a continued support. If you change your operating system, download the driver again for your printer: Brother DCP-350C. Select your correct operating system to download the correct driver for your printer.
