Having problems with Micromax q1 mobile Micro SD

I have a Micromax Q1 mobile GSM 900 Dual Sim Phone with 2 GB Micro SD.  Why is it that when I put a 4 GB Micro SD, the phone reads only one network instead of 2?  Can't the phone handle a 4 GB  micro SD?

Hello Yelverton Nolan,

The SD card is just an external memory added to your phone and should have nothing to do with the networks your phone can read.

To resolve the network problem please check your both SIM cards and contact your mobile network providers.

Your phone supports up to 4GB of SD card so it should work fine. For better performance, I would suggest you to use class 4 or higher SD card.

Hello, Yelverton Nola!

After reading your problem, I think that this is a memory problem. To get better results and performance, you should use a 2 GB memory card for your phone. Because if you use a 4 GB memory card, which is the maximum capacity of this phone, you give more pressure to the phone.

Hope this clarifies the issue.

Have a good day.
