Google’s Self Driving Car? Is it going to be a Evolution?
Google created some of the self driving car prototypes and still they are researching on it before spreading it among the public. The prototype they had made uses Linux as operating system. They have also created Ubuntu based self driving Toyota Prius as a prototype for the Google self driving car. The software which is powering the Google self driving car is Google Chauffeur. Looking at the prototype we can conclude that Google will be using open source OS Linux or Ubuntu for the self driving which they will release for public.

They will be the stylist and featured based obviously. But Google is not really thinking about the style now. They are researching how it can continue the journey on road without accident and without creating any problem for the other. They are also researching about the feature. Like how it will be automatically stopped once reached to the destination using the GPS system. How it will automatically detect that some person is on the road. They are thinking to automate everything in the car. For the stylish mainly the car companies will be responsible.Â

Google is planning to launch the car in next 5-10 years but it’s not confirmed yet. So we really cannot predict much about this. There is also rumors that apple also researching on the autonomous car. So it will totally depend how and when Google launch their self driving car. It is also unpredictable that Google’s self driving car will damage the sales for Bugatti Veyron or BMW brand car or not. This will depends on the features, style, price and marketing of the Google Self driving car.
