When you open Google chrome you get an error message that says your profile could not be opened correctly. If that’s the case ,just delete web data of your browsers. Just follow these steps to delete web data in Windows 7 Quit Google Chrome. Open Computer. Navigate to C:Users{username}AppDataLocalGoogleChromeUser DataDefault Delete the file named “Web Data” Start Google Chrome and the error will not occur.

You have corruption in your Google Chrome profile data. Just delete the "Web Data". Just follow these steps to delete the web data in Windows XP:
First,
1. Quit Google Chrome.
2. Open Computer
3. Turn on Show Hidden Files and Folders in Folder Options in Windows Explorer.
4. Navigate to: C:Documents and Settings {username}Local SettingsApplication DataGoogleChromeUser Data
5. Delete the file named "Web Data"
6. Start Google Chrome and the error should be gone.
